After five years at Ernst & Young as an HR Generalist, Amy Biediger joined Collins Reisenbichler Architects (CRA) in Dallas, Texas, as Talent Director. CRA, a leading healthcare architecture and interior design firm, would soon undergo a strategic transformation by joining forces with Perkins & Will through a partial acquisition. This merger established the Dallas office as the fifth location for the global firm and set the stage for rapid expansion and diversification.
As the firm evolved from healthcare into new markets—including Corporate, Commercial/Civic, Science & Tech, Higher Education, K-12, and Branding—Amy played a pivotal role in building its people across multiple cities: Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Denver, Monterrey, Mexico through various Mergers and Acquisitions. Over the next two decades, Amy led the Human Resources Team through many recruiting and placement efforts that helped the team to over 500 employees. She managed critical HR functions as talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, policy development, culture building, and organizational change, gaining deep insight how small and large firms operate, compete, and thrive.
Today, Amy is channeling over 23 years of experience in the design world into AEB Strategic Talent, offering fractional HR services to growing firms that may not yet have a dedicated HR leader but need one.
